Order of the Scales

The Order of the Scales is a samurai sect based on the planet Ikkai. They travel across the entire Frontier, capturing wanted criminals, witnessing contract agreements, and generally enforcing laws agreed upon by all governments in the Frontier.

A samurai of the Order is well-versed in both local and international law, and highly skilled in both tracking and fighting. They are well-funded and highly skilled combatants. Major cities have local headquarters, while smaller towns usually have a few samurai that travel through them periodically, staying for a few months to attend to local business.

Samurai of the Scales have wealth equivalent to a PC of their level and the lowest-ranked members are 6th level. Local precinct heads are typically 10th-12th level, and the highest-ranked samurai are around 16th level. They often work alone, but sometimes operate in groups, particularly within towns and cities.
