Chaos Domain

Your touch infuses life and weapons with chaos, and you revel in all things anarchic. You might even be a sovereign citizen.

Granted Powers

Touch of Chaos (Sp): As a standard action, you can imbue a target with chaos as a melee touch attack. Until the end of its next turn, anytime the target rolls a d20, it must roll twice and take the less favorable result.

Chaos Blade (Su): At 8th level, you can give a weapon touched the anarchic special weapon quality for a number of rounds equal to 1/2 your cleric level. You can use this ability once per day at 8th level, and an additional time per day for every four levels beyond 8th.

Domain Spells: 1st—protection from law, 2nd—align weapon (chaos only), 3rd—magic circle against law, 4th—chaos hammer, 5th—dispel law, 6th—form of the alien dragon I (outer dragons only), 7th—word of chaos, 8th—cloak of chaos, 9th—summon monster IX (chaotic outsiders only).

Subdomains

Subdomains replace certain elements of their parent domain. You may choose one subdomain when selecting a given domain.

Entropy

Replacement Power: The following granted power replaces the chaos blade power of the Chaos domain.

Hasten the End (Su): At 8th level, as an immediate action upon successfully hitting an opponent with a melee attack, you reduce the remaining duration of all beneficial magical effects currently affecting the target by 1 round, minute, hour, or day—whichever measurement is used to determine the duration of each particular magical effect. You can use this ability once per round. At 12th and 16th level, the amount by which you reduce the duration increases by 1 (e.g. you reduce the duration of a 1 minute per level spell by 3 minutes at level 16).

Replacement Domain Spells: 1st—entropic shield, 3rd—dispel magic, 5th—confusion, 7th—destruction.

Riot

Replacement Power: The following granted power replaces the chaos blade power of the Chaos domain.

Aura of Bedlam (Su): At 8th level, you can emit a 30-foot-radius aura of chaos and strife for 1 round per cleric level. Enemies in the aura take a penalty equal to half your cleric level on concentration checks, and are treated as experiencing vigorous motion (concentration DC = 10 + spell level) when attempting to cast spells.

This is a mind-affecting effect. These rounds need not be consecutive.

Replacement Domain Spells: 4th—confusion, 7th—crime wave, 8th—life of crime.
