Weapons

Note that the Compound Bows do not have the option to scale with Str for damage.

Note: On an attack roll of a natural 1, a firearm jams. Clearing a jam is normally a full-round action, but see the Firearm weapon special quality for an alternate (though riskier) option.

To wield a heavy weapon, you must take the Heavy Weapon Proficiency feat for that specific weapon. You cannot wield the weapon unless your Str score is at least half of the weapon's weight, or you have a suitable location to mount or brace the weapon. Mounting or bracing a heavy weapon is a move action. A heavy weapon cannot make full attack actions (other than automatic fire for applicable heavy weapons). Heavy weapons use the wielder's Str score for attack rolls, but not damage rolls. Heavy weapons take a full round action to reload, not modified by the Rapid Reload feat. Some heavy weapons do not follow the standard damage die progression as size increases: add the Damage Increment once for each step beyond Medium or subtract it once for Small. Heavy weapons may not be smaller than Small size.
