Diva

Divas are renowned singers who thrill audiences far and wide with their voices. Known for their arrogance, divas rarely countenance rivals, often singing down their competitors in highly-publicized duels.

Famous

At 2nd level, a Diva may choose a region where she is famous, and within that region, the locals are more likely to react favorably toward her. The Diva gains a bonus on Bluff and Diplomacy checks in that area and to influence people from that area.

At 2nd level, this region is a small town or a city district, and the modifier on Bluff and Diplomacy checks is +1. As the diva grows more famous, additional areas learn of her (typically places where she has lived or traveled, or settlements adjacent to those where she is known) and her bonuses apply to even more people. At 5th level, the region is a large town or several small ones, and the modifier on Bluff and Diplomacy checks is +2. At 9th level, the region is a major city or several towns, and the modifier on Bluff and Diplomacy checks is +3. At 13th level, the region is most of a planet, and the modifier to Bluff and Diplomacy is +4. At 17th level and above, the diva’s renown has spread far, and most civilized folk know of her (GM’s discretion); the diva’s modifier on Bluff and Diplomacy checks is +5.

Additionally, the Diva can request small favors once per day from her fans while in her area of fame in the form of goods or services. At 2nd level, this can have a value of up to 5 sy. At 5th level, this can be up to 10 sy. At 9th level, this can be up to 25 sy. At 13th level, this can be up to 50 sy. At 17th level and up, this can be up to 100 sy.

This ability replaces implanted knowledge.

Prima Donna (Ex)

At 2nd level, as her efforts to outdo her rivals increase, a Diva can spend additional stacks of Crescendo to augment her interfering tune ability. She can spend up to 2 extra Crescendo points from her pool to gain a +2 circumstance bonus to her Perform (Singing) check for each point spent. Additionally, when using Interfering Song, the Diva can spend Crescendo Points from her pool, rather than subtracting them from her Song. She must still be singing to perform this ability.

This ability modifies interfering tune.

Costume Proficiency (Su)

At 4th level, the Diva has become so used to wearing strange and cumbersome costumes for her performances that she gains proficiency in light armor and shields and can cast spells while wearing light armor and shields without incurring the normal arcane spell failure chance. At 10th level, she gains medium armor proficiency and can cast spells while wearing medium armor without incurring the normal arcane spell failure chance.

This ability replaces the bonus feats normally learned at 4th and 10th levels.

Transformation Sequence (Su)

At 5th level, a Diva can magically change her outfit or equip/unequip armor very rapidly to augment her performances via magic.

A Diva can normally change clothing or armor in 1 round. She can instead change as a move action by spending a point of Crescendo. However, the transformation is quite a spectacle, involving loud sounds or music, brilliant colorful energies, and swift motions. Additionally, the Diva can store up to 2 outfits in a special extradimensional space by spending an hour bonding to them, and she can call them forth as part of her transformation sequence. The number of outfits that can be stored increases by 1 for every 5 levels beyond 5th.

This ability replaces the new song normally learned at 5th level.
