Dark Seraphim
Some who have been wronged in their past venture down a dark road of destruction and madness. They tread a fine line between imposing justice and descending into evil and chaos. Many of them see themselves as better than their kindred, a sort of messianic figure deserving of accolade.
Alignment
Dark seraphim may not be of a Good or Lawful alignment.
Weapon and Armor Proficiencies
Dark seraphim are not proficient in shields or firearms.
Dark Seraphim Battle Artes
Dark seraphim study forbidden artes that run with dangerous, chaotic power. Dark seraphim only choose two disciplines from the usual list, but gain the Black Seraph and Shattered Mirror disciplines.
This ability alters Battle Artes.
Psychocasting
At 2nd level, the dark seraphim can cast a small number of spells, fueled by his own anger and lust for vengeance. He learns one first-level spell from the sorcerer/wizard list. Each time he levels up, he learns one more spell from this list, using the psychochemist Max Formula Level to determine the highest-level spell he can learn.
He casts these spells as spell-like abilities, following all the rules for the psychochemist's psychocasting ability.
This ability replaces bonus feats.
Weapon Training (Ex)
Starting at 6th level, a dark seraphim can select one group of weapons from the list of soldier weapon groups. This must also be a weapon group associated with the Black Seraph or Shattered Mirror disciplines. Whenever he attacks with a weapon from this group, he gains a +1 bonus on attack and damage rolls.
Every six levels thereafter, he becomes trained in another group of weapons. He gains a +1 bonus on attack and damage rolls when using a weapon from this group. In addition, the bonuses granted by previous weapon groups increase by +1 each. '
This ability in all other ways acts as the Soldier ability of the same name, including feat prerequisits and Advanced Weapon Training.
This ability replaces Discipline Focus.
Flight (Su)
At 9th level, the dark seraphim grows a single wing with dark feathers. This wing grants him magical flight with a speed of 40 feet (good maneuverability). He can fly in this way for up to 1 minute per battle sage level each day.
This ability replaces Sweeping Rush.
